Óbidos
-Charming medieval little town surrounded by walls, dominated by an imposing castle today transformed into a lovely Pousada- “Inn”. The narrow streets, the white washed houses outlined in blue and yellow (for historic reasons), the balconies packed with flowers… all this makes Óbidos an unforgettable visit.
Alcobaça
-Portugal ’s largest Abbey founded in the 12th Century by the Cistercians, in early gothic style, Alcobaça became a memorial in stone to a tragic love story between D. Pedro and D. Inês.
Nazaré
-Nazaré picturesque fishing town overlooking a lovely sandy beach, protected by a huge cliff where the old fortress stands.
-It’s time to go to Nazaré for lunch in one of the fish and seafood restaurant facing the ocean and free time to have the opportunity for a romantic walk on the sandy beach.
-We’ll drive all the way up to Sitio for an unforgettable and unique panoramic view of the coastline.
São Martinho
-Driving back to the hotel we’ll visit S.Martinho do Porto, a lovely shell shaped beach, and along the ocean till Foz Arelho where it’s possible to see the spot where the Óbidos lagoon meets the ocean.
