Superbly appointed new villa overlooking the sea within easy driving distance of all the amenities at the beach resort of Foz do Arelho on Portugal's Silver Coast. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; one en-suite with full bath shower. The lounge dining room looks out onto a terrace with spectacular views of the lagoon below. The large outside terrace also has a brick BBQ that shares the wonderful views. The stylishly decorated bedrooms are all fitted with wardrobes and are in keeping with the overall ambience of the property. The villa has a private heated swimming pool to the rear connects the BBQ and terraces which is ideal for use late into the evening well after you enjoy the sunsets. The wonderful Obidos Lagoon greets you every morning and you can say hello to the Atlantic Ocean while sipping you cup of tea. Located within a short walk of the golden sandy beach below, you can take the morning out as soon as the sun rises. Take your afternoon lunch in one of the many restaurants lining the beach or just chill out from all the sun with refreshments from one of the bars. The Lagoon offers a variety of radical watersports if that's your preference and you can book them through this very site too. New and paved walking or running paths can be used to take full advantage of a calorie burning afternoon. Caldas da Rainha, the historically well known thermal city can be reached within a 10 minute drive and here you can shop in the daily fruit market where you'll find the best the region has to offer in terms of fresh produce. There are also many hypermarkets in the area to stock up on daily provisions. If golf is in your sights you can reach the internationally acclaimed five star golf course at Praia del Rey within 30 minutes by car. There are also many wonderful golden beaches at Peniche and various well known surfing spots in that area too, amongst them the very well known "Supertubos". Lisbon airport is only a 50 minute drive. Don't forget to visit the medieval castle of Obidos which is fast becoming known as the chocolate Meca. Wine tours and various visits to neighbouring and historically fascinating towns and villages can also be booked directly through this site. Delicious and privately cooked meals at the villa can also be arranged if you book with time through this site too.

Refundable Damage Deposit Pricing Notes
GBP£300,00 If mid-vacation cleaning services are required, this can be arranged at an additional cost of GBP£60,00 /- per visit. The cost of heating during winter visits or any other cold spells at other times of year, is charged GBP£20,00/- per day. Swim towels extra GBP£2,00 per towel per week. Please check at the time of booking.
  • • 30% Initial deposit payable by bank transfer 4 weeks prior to arrival. Then 70% is payable by bank transfer 4 weeks prior to arrival.
  • • A fully refundable breakage deposit of GBP£300,00 will apply to all bookings. This amount is payable, along with the final rental instalment, 4 weeks prior to arrival.
  • • The breakage deposit will be refunded within 10 working days after leaving the villa subject to any damage or breakage that occurs during your stay.
  • • If you are visiting from outside the European Union, then the breakage deposit should be paid in cash Euros on arrival. The caretaker will inspect the property and refund your deposit in cash Euros, on departure day, provided there is no damage or breakage at the property.

My husband and I stayed in the villa recently. The view from the terrace is absolutely breath-taking, we never wanted to leave!! The property is beautiful and location is great, nice walk to beach along the lagoon. We really enjoyed it and will return next year. The Price family

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful villa several times while property searching in this beautiful region of Portugal. The terrace is spectacular and we enjoyed many barbecues overlooking the Obidos Lagoon. The heated pool is a bonus!! We recommend this villa.

We had loads of barbecues on the terrace which we really enjoyed. It was really handy that the villa has satellite TV as we don’t speak Portuguese it was great as the kids could watch English TV as well. The villa is clean and comfortable and the owners were really helpful and nothing was to much trouble, ideal for a family holiday. Just across the street you can enjoy a meal or a coffee at the sailing school and Foz do Arelho has some super restaurants and markets. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this villa; we hope to go back next year
